The brief

A new studio living only on Instagram.

Aurea opened in February 2026 as a carpentry and interior-design studio in the Comarca Lagunera. Their entire presence was organic social posts. Good work, but no reliable way for a prospect to find them, browse a portfolio, or request a quote. Posts got likes; they didn't get bookings. Discovery depended entirely on the social algorithm, and inquiries were drowning in DMs that nobody had time to qualify.

The result: a real domain with a scannable project portfolio and a clear quote path, off the social-only algorithm.

Our approach

Where we focused

We don't redesign for looks. We build the channel a business should already have, then tune it on real demand.

  1. 01

    A credible home base

Built the site that makes Aurea look like the established studio their work already deserves. Real domain, local schema, on-brand visual system: the basics that move a new studio from "Instagram page" to "real business."

  2. 02

    Browsable craft portfolio

Organized the carpentry and interior work as a portfolio prospects can actually scan and judge. Project detail pages, finish notes, scope and timeline: the things that disqualify bad-fit leads before the call.

  3. 03

    Direct booking path

Replaced the "DM us" loop with a real inquiry path: project type, scope, target date. The site now does the first round of qualification so the team only talks to fit.

Azteya gave us the credibility we couldn't build ourselves on social. The site does the introduction before our first call.
Aurea Founders

Our process

How we did it

  1. Aurea discovery artifact: founder interviews and benchmark
    01 · Discovery

    Founder interviews + benchmark

Met with the founders the week of the studio's opening. Audited the social-only presence and benchmarked against established Comarca Lagunera studios. The brief was simple: turn organic interest into a path that converts.

  2. Aurea strategy artifact: positioning and IA
    02 · Strategy

    Position as established, not new

Locked a positioning that reads "established local studio" instead of "new freelance": local schema, project-level proof, clear booking path. Decided what doesn't go on the site: no algorithmic Instagram-style infinite feed.

  3. Aurea design + build artifact: visual system
    03 · Design + Build

    Warm, craft-forward, self-serve

Designed a warm, craft-forward visual system that survives next to the actual work without competing with it. Built the project detail template so adding new work doesn't require design help. They ship work themselves.

  4. Aurea launch artifact: opening-week analytics
    04 · Launch + Iterate

    Launch alongside opening week

Soft-launched alongside the studio's opening week, watched the first organic-to-site traffic, tuned the inquiry form based on what prospects actually asked. The site now grows project by project as Aurea finishes them.
